Painting is by far on of the most difficult mediums I have learned, and yet it can be the most rewarding. Even so, it is incredibly unique to the art world. I favor realism and impressionism, simply becuase it is what I like looking at the most. There are endless ways to go about creating a painting, whether it be loose brush strokes, tight calculated marks, vibrant colors, or black and white. they all serve a purpose and have a meaning, which is why painting is one of the most versatile mediums in the art world.
